I didn't die in the fall so don't worry your fiery little head about it...I'm sure we could be good friends, but you need to eat some tic tacs because your breath smells like a burnt-out Buick.

Thw White team has been through a lot of stuff in the last few weeks...it wasn't easy for them to lose their team leader but I know that they are strong and wise and will grow from their experiences.

Emma, although your jinglies are broken, they can be fixed...see me about it if you like. I know a magic spell.

Well, today is the second day of filming for all of the teams and White Team has decided to go back to get "the after" film. But, unfortunately the film that they taped yesterday will have to wait until someone more competent comes along to handle the breaks in it, plus I ran out of room to capture anyways, so I cannot work on it until someone gets back to check it out. A bit of a road block, but we will get passed it!!! Good luck today White Team, I hope you guys get some wonderful film!!!

The Cat plays while the others are away... No, not really. Today, White team took their first trip to the Collector's Shop today to see if it was possible to get an interview from our Interviewee today, but alas, he was not there. but, they were not discouraged, and they decided that even though it was not possible to get an interview, they could at least get some fantastic B-Role that would match the information that they gather tomorrow. My only regret is that I am not there with them to see them doing such an amazing job and to help them out myself instead of just sitting here blogging. I miss you White Team! Keep filming and have a great time!!!

Well, so far my weekend has been filled with problems. Saturday was my friends Engagement party, and I twisted my ankle skinned my knee on the way there. I woke up today and I can hardly walk. I hobble like a 90 year old woman. I keep hoping that it will heal before white team has to go out and do any field work, but so far my hopes have been dashed. I'm still coming in though, and doing what I can, but if it's any kind of foot travel we have to do, then I'm sorry white team, you'll have to go on without me!!!

We worked on a news package about the West Central Community Center this week. The Balrog told us that he was really excited about the new additions to the center, and he thinks the center has a positive impact on the community. He also likes the local pool because, "I get really hot, being on fire all the time." On a side note, he apologized about killing Gandalf. "It gets really lonely down there. I was just trying to say hi."

No luck finding Mordor yet. More later.

Please excuse me for not working very much today. I wanted to give others a chance to work since I was the only one who had enough brain power to do it the last two days. Everyone was just too tired from the trip to the community center to be productive. So, since I was the only one who had the brain power, I worked and gave them a break. Now, I will let them take over. Ja ne!

Yo, what's up? My name is Courtney. Working with Tincan in the Video Journalism Institute has been one of the most amazing experiences of my life. The challenge that the programs on the Mac present to my mind have been the most interesting things I have experienced in a long time. I have learned a lot in just the two weeks that I have been here. Mandy, our Team Leader, has been cramming our brains with all kinds of knowledge and it's hard to believe that it's been such a short time since we started. Since starting, though, I have come to love the work that we have been doing and I plan to continue to work in this area and areas like this. My father has also said that he will build me a PC desktop so that I may do this kind of work at home when this Internship is over. Even if it is not a Mac, a good PC will still be helpful in what I wish to do. But, while I want to work on my own work, I plan to stay with Tincan after the internship is over because I have enjoyed working here so much. All in all, I am very pleased with everything that has happened thus far and I hope that it continues to be a great experience, or maybe become ever better.
